How to Delete Your Data from Unposted

Unposted respects your right to delete your data. You have two options.
Option A — Delete Your Account In-App (Recommended)
- Open Unposted on your phone or at https://unposted.brandpick.ai.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. You will receive a confirmation email.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 60 days of the request, per our Privacy Policy. A 30-day soft-delete recovery window applies.
Option B — Email Request
Email support@unposted.brandpick.ai from the email address associated with your account. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 60 days.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All business profiles, team memberships, and business records you own
- All OAuth tokens for connected platforms (Google Business Profile, Instagram, TikTok) — these are purged immediately on request
- All uploaded photos and media assets
- All posts, captions, reviews, reply drafts, and tone profiles
- All device push tokens
What We Retain (and Why)
- Billing and tax records: retained for 7 years as required by US tax law.
- Audit logs and security events: retained for 2 years for fraud prevention.
- Aggregated, de-identified usage metrics: retained indefinitely (no way to identify you).
Data That Lives on Third-Party Platforms
Content you published to Google Business Profile, Instagram, or TikTok remains on those platforms after you delete your Unposted account. To remove it, you must delete it directly through each platform's own tools. We can no longer delete content on your behalf once you disconnect.
Meta / Facebook User Data Deletion Callback
If you are removing Unposted from your Facebook or Instagram account (via Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → Remove), Meta sends an automated deletion request to our servers. We process these requests within 30 days and provide Meta a confirmation code you can use to verify status at:
